Two evils: doing and suffering injustice

509dSocratesSo, there being two of them, doing injustice and suffering injustice, we say that doing injustice is the greater evil, and suffering injustice the lesser. Then what would a person equip himself with to help himself, so as to have both these benefits, the one that comes from not doing injustice and the one that comes from not suffering injustice? Power, or wanting? I mean it like this: is it if he does not want to suffer injustice that he will not suffer injustice, or if he equips himself with power against suffering injustice that he will not suffer injustice?
