Or do you think—because Gorgias was ashamed not to go on and agree with you that the rhetorician knows what is just and what is fine and what is good, and that if someone came to him without knowing these things, he himself would teach him, and then from this agreement, perhaps, he came to contradict himself in the arguments—the very thing you delight in, you who led him to such questions yourself—for who do you think will deny that he himself knows what is just and will teach others?—But to lead the arguments into such things is very boorish.
